Summary of 2021 Awards
In 2021, more than $10.8 million was awarded to early career scientists in the United States and Canada through RCSA’s two core programs, the Cottrell Scholar Program and Scialog. A growing number of partnerships – which in 2021 included the NSF, the Paul G. Allen Frontiers Group, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, the Frederick Gardner Cottrell Foundation, the Heising-Simons Foundation, the Kavli Foundation, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, NASA, the Climate Pathfinders Foundation, the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, and the USDA – is helping RCSA catalyze innovative basic research and make science more collaborative and inclusive.
