Webinars Offer Tips for Cottrell Scholar Proposals
Research Corporation for Science Advancement is offering two webinars to help potential applicants prepare for the upcoming July 1, 2021, deadline for Cottrell Scholar Award proposals. Following a 15-20 minute presentation on program goals, proposal preparation and submission, and the Cottrell Scholar Award selection process, Program Directors Silvia Ronco and Andrew Feig will be available for questions.
To accommodate the largest possible number of attendees, we will offer this seminar twice:
- Wednesday, March 31, 2021 (noon – 1 p.m. Eastern)
- Friday, April 2, 2021 (2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Eastern)
In 2021, RCSA is accepting applications from chemistry, physics, and astronomy faculty who started their first faculty position in 2018. The Cottrell Scholar program is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community of teacher-scholars who, collectively, can make a difference in the way science is taught in the United States and Canada.
