For many years, RCSA’s logo featured three gear sprockets, representing academia, patent management and invention. By 2008, the Foundation was no longer involved in either patent management or invention and it was deemed time to redesign its logo.
The new logo reflects the Foundation’s contemporary emphasis on science and education. Depending on their areas of expertise, scientists may perceive the new logo as a double helix, a Mobius Strip, a basic cellular structure, or the interplay of subatomic forces.
